2nd Postdoctoral Conference of Southern Africa
The Postdoctoral Society (PDS) of Stellenbosch University is proud to announce the second Postdoctoral Conference of Southern Africa to be hosted by Stellenbosch University from 10 to 12 November 2021. The aim of the conference is to bring together young researchers from diverse fields of research to create an interdisciplinary forum, placing an emphasis on the importance of postdoctoral fellows in driving research under the theme:

Expression of interest
The conference will take place virtually, which will allow the Postdoctoral Society of Stellenbosch University to offer a widely accessible, high quality experience that will reach an even larger audience, regardless of location. Attendees are invited to join us for inspiring talks by keynote speakers, presentations by postdoctoral fellows in parallel sessions, workshops, breakaway rooms and vivid panels discussions. Symposia
Postdoctoral fellows from Southern Africa are invited and encouraged to submit a title or theme for a symposia within their field of research, together with potential chairs for the sessions, as well as (a maximum of) three fellow postdoctoral researchers to present within the theme of the symposia. The call for symposia is open until 30 June 2021, 17:00 SAST. Please follow this link to submit your title or theme for the symposia, and you will receive email updates leading up to the conference.
Registration
Registration for the Postdoctoral Conference will open later this year.

Postdoctoral fellows Stellenbosch University: R1 500.00

Postdoctoral fellows outside Stellenbosch University: R1 800.00
